Brick Thrown Through the Door

 Laurens City Police were dispatched to the former Pete’s Restaurant on Fleming Street at 9:50 yesterday morning after the owner of the building discovered a break-in. A bottom glass panel of a door had been broken, probably with a brick which was found on the floor nearby. In the initial review of the situation, the only thing noted as missing was some change – perhaps a few dollars – from a charity jar that was on the counter.
