On Sunday Cpl. Sibley of the Laurens County Sheriffs Office was dispatched to Walnut Crest Court in reference to a fight in progress involving baseball bats. Upon arrival he found several vehicles parked in the roadway. Multiple people in the roadway and driveway of the residence. After separating the parties, Cpl. Sibley spoke with the person that lives at the residence. She stated that she and another person had been involved in a verbal altercation earlier that day in Simpsonville and this led to the other person coming to her home. Neither women had any physical injuries. Both agreed to sign “request to stop investigation” forms.
