The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest yesterday afternoon in connection with an alleged car break-in last summer. 21-year-old Charles Robert James III of 109 Davidson Avenue, Durham, North Carolina was charged with Larceny, Breaking Into an Automobile. Mr. James is also known as ‘Charlie Brown’ and ‘A.J.’ Investigator Ben Blackmon states that on August 25th, 2012 Mr. James overcame a locking device to break into a vehicle for the purpose of stealing. James was being held in the Johnson Detention Center, pending arraignment.
