The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office yesterday charged an out-of-county man in connection with a domestic assault near Gray Court that allegedly occurred late in 2012.
22-year-old Gregory Peter “Greg” Alvarez of 705 Gap Creek Road, Duncan was charged with Criminal Domestic Violence. Deputy Jamie Edwards states that on December 1st, 2012 Gregory Alvarez caused physical harm and injury by poking the victim in the stomach, and that the victim was five months pregnant. Greg Alvarez was being held in the Johnson Detention Center for a bond hearing this morning.
