The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office responded to Wexford Way, Fountain Inn at 2:35 Friday afternoon and arrived to find a woman bleeding from the head. Deputy Edwards had EMS respond. He arrested a daughter of the victim in the case. 26-year-old Ashley Kathleen Storay of 103 Wexford Way, Fountain Inn was charged with Assault and Battery 2nd Degree. Deputy Jamie Edwards states that on December 13th Ashley Storay did intentionally commit a battery upon her mother by striking her in the head with a hard weighted Christmas dish-like object. This allegedly occurred at 103 Wexford Way. Ashley Storay was released Saturday on $5,000 personal recognizance bond.
