Clinton Public Safety yesterday issued charges of Domestic Violence on a case from an arrest early Wednesday night. 59-year-old Ray Junior Mack of 109 Brianna Drive had initially been charged with Public Disorderly Conduct. In the warrant charging Criminal Domestic Violence of a High and Aggravated Nature, Officer Metz states that Ray Mack caused the victim to fear for her life and safety by threatening to kill her while holding a large knife. The warrant alleges he had the clear and present ability to cause severe bodily harm or death to the victim, his wife, causing her to lock herself in the bathroom of their residence and call 911. A $15,000 surety bond was set yesterday on the Domestic Violence charge, while a personal recognizance bond was set on the Public Disorderly charge. Ray Junior Mack was being held in the Johnson Detention Center this morning.
