A warrant charging Manufacturing Marijuana was served yesterday on 29-year-old Jimathel Jerome Starks “Pea” of 900 Prather Circle #2, Clinton. He was arrested following an early morning traffic stop in Clinton by Lt. Cathy Anderson. An investigation following the 2am stop reportedly led to the charge. The warrant states that on January 9th the defendant had in his home the equipment used in the manufacturing and cultivating of marijuana along with 25 or more marijuana plants growing in this location. Lt. Anderson also issued tickets charging Starks with Simple Possession of Marijuana and with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
A $5,000 surety bond was set on the Manufacturing Marijuana charge. Jimathel Jerome Starks remained in the Johnson Detention Center this morning.
