A five-year sentence resulted from pleas entered in Laurens County General Sessions Criminal Court yesterday. 49-year-old James Edward King Jr. of 67 Lake Road, Clinton pled to Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine and Possession of less than one gram of crank or crack cocaine 2nd.
He was given concurrent sentences resulting in five years in the State Department of Corrections. James Edward King Jr. was placed in the Johnson Detention Center, pending his transfer to the state prison system.
