Laurens County Deputies Sweat and Edwards went to a location on Swallow Drive near Fountain Inn at 9:22 Saturday night looking for a man wanted for Larceny and 2nd Degree Burglary charges. Deputies were met with an elderly lady using a walker and apparently also being assisted with oxygen. While talking with the woman, officers observed two men reportedly running from another door.

The woman reportedly gave consent to search the area, and deputies indicated they found baggies of methamphetamine along with four generators, two one-pots and other items used in the manufacture of methamphetamine.

Three men were arrested at the location.

19-year-old Phillip Justin Bridges of 254 Derrick Lane, Simpsonville was charged with Manufacture and Illegal Disposal of Methamphetamine and with Possession with Intent to Distribute Meth. Deputy Steven Sweat states that Phillip Bridges had materials used in the manufacture of methamphetamine Saturday and illegally disposed of waste from methamphetamine manufacture. Bonds on the three charges were set totaling $60,000.

51-year-old Michael Henry Miller of 1172 Swallow Drive, Fountain Inn was charged with Manufacture of Methamphetamine and Illegal Disposal of Methamphetamine Waste. Bonds were set totaling $35,000 on the two charges.

48-year-old Ronald Alfred Johnson of 382 Highway 72, Abbeville was charged with Manufacture of Methamphetamine and Illegal Disposal of Meth waste. Bonds were set totaling $35,000 on the two charges.

All three men remained in the Johnson Detention Center this morning. Deputies were back at Swallow Drive overnight doing follow-up investigation.
