Clinton Public Safety was dispatched to North Adair near Clinton High at 9:14 last night on a report of a male walking in the street holding a gun. As Lt. Anderson approached she observed a male subject waving his right hand around in the shape of a pistol. As officers approached they had the subject stop and walk backward, then get on the ground. A frisk of the subject revealed he had no weapon. The 47-year-old Clinton man was arrested on a charge of Disorderly Conduct and transported to Public Safety to await a bond hearing.
