The Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to an Alltell Wireless location on Poole Road outside Clinton late yesterday morning after a company employee discovered a break-in had occurred, sometime since Friday afternoon. The employee noted it appears someone cut a chain link fence to gain entrance into the area in order to cut the grounding cables from the fence. The subject also cut several building grounding cables and used some sort of saw to cut the door lock and pried the door to the building open. Inside the building, the intruder cut more grounding cables from the air conditioning units and cut other major wiring inside the building. Value of stolen metals and materials was $3,000.
