Catherine Byrd Massey, 81, formally of Woodruff, SC, departed this life on February 25, 2014, at New York Methodist Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Mary Green Byrd and Roy Byrd.
Survivors include two daughters, Maria and Diana Massey both of Brooklyn, NY; one son, John Massey of Brooklyn, NY; six granddaughters and four great-granddaughters.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 10:45 Friday, March 7, 2014, prior to the 11:00 AM Funeral services at Trinity A.M.E. Zion Church, Woodruff, SC. Burial will be held in the Church Cemetery.
