David Tribble has expressed appreciation for his win in Tuesday’s Primary. He said “After months of campaigning over all of District 42, I am grateful to the voters in the Republican Primary for choosing me as their nominee in the November General Election. I want to thank Mark Cathcart for the energetic, thoughtful, and faith-filled message he campaigned on and focusing the race on improving District 42. I have called Mark to thank him for his contribution to the campaign and to seek his support in the future.”

Tribble said “The total of all votes cast in the primary has shown a clear pattern that District 42 is ready for a change to be made. I have heard this message loud and clear, both on the campaign trail and in the results of the election. I will continue to listen to the voters across the district and remain faithful to representing their ideas both in Columbia, and in all of District 42.”

David Tribble said the voters chose a candidate “who can best bring the message of change, lower taxes, less government regulation, and real prosperity to the state of South Carolina.” He continued “I am humbled, honored, and proud to be their nominee and I hope that through this election process I will become a Representative that District 42 will be proud of, one that will work to make government smaller and more effective.”
