Deputy Sheriff Farrah Cook was dispatched to Pete Street, Waterloo at 7:55 last evening on a report of an assault. A man said that he had both his girlfriends and another man at his residence for a small get together Saturday evening during which he was assaulted and robbed. He indicated a girlfriend used a padlock tied inside a bandana to strike him repeatedly in the head. A hammer was also used, reportedly doing damage to the residence. The man had injuries to his head and lower back that had scabs, and the man showed what he said was blood splatter from the event. Deputy Cook spoke with the other woman who was at the event and said she stayed with him to care for him until Monday. She indicated the other woman attacked the man when he wouldn’t give her money. She allegedly took $100, and did an estimated $500 in damage to the residence.
