Friday around 11am, Deputy Taylor responded to Beaverdam Creek Rd. Gray Court residence concerning a burglary. The victim said she had left her residence to go to Simpsonville and when she returned home, she found that someone had made entry into the residence and noticed her pantry door was open. She then found several items missing from throughout the residence including a freestanding fire safe, a Ruger Super Redhawk .44 Magnum with scope, a lot of jewelry, antique watches, collectible coins and important papers.
The victim stated that her son was going through a divorce and some of the missing items were his. She further stated that the items taken were in places that only people that have been in the residence would know where they were. Investigating officers responded to the residence for further investigation.
