Clinton Public Safety investigated a report of an Armed Robbery on Lee Street last night. It reportedly occurred between 10:50 and 11;00 pm. The victim came to the police department to report the incident just after 11:00 pm. He said he had arrived home and as he exited his car and approached his door he observed two male subjects running fast down Milling Street towards his direction. He said as he neared his door the two subjects ran up behind him on the porch. He described their clothing and that through the eyes of the masks and by their voices he believes they were while males between 17 to 21 years old. They reportedly held a dark-colored gun on him and demanded his money. Taking the $40 he had in his possession they reportedly ran off the porch and down the street towards Washington Street. He said that a short time later he heard a car speed off. Officers walked the block at the scene of the incident in an attempt to locate any evidence.
