The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office was notified yesterday afternoon about the theft of a car from a Fountain Inn area resident. Deputy McMahan got information on the stolen car from a Mauldin office the man rented the car from. The man said that he had an injury that restricted him to his house and had an acquaintance come over and stay with him to help until he got better. He said that he believes this young lady took the car without his permission while he was asleep for the night between Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning. He did not know her full name or contact information but said she was 27 to 30 years old with blonde hair and blue eyes, 5’5” tall and about 145 pounds.
