One of the women arrested last year on Ill Treatment of Animal charges due to conditions found at their residence just outside Laurens was back in Laurens County’s Detention Center yesterday. 32-year-old Sarah Janette Keith was booked with an address at 112 Rice Street, Belton and served with two Bench Warrants from Magistrate’s Court. The bench warrants were issued February 10th of this year by Judge Glynda Tucker, noting Ms. Keith’s conviction May 16th, 2013 for two counts, Ill Treatment of Animals. She had sentences issued of 30 days or $309 on one and 12 days or $189 on the other, to be served consecutively. Sarah Janette Keith remained in the Johnson Detention Center this morning.
