A Laurens woman has been arrested in connection with a fatal ‘hit and run’ incident in Greenwood according to Fox Carolina. They quote Greenwood Police as saying that 40-year-old Vacquez Enicus “Rico” Martin had been reported missing and wasn’t found until Saturday. He had reportedly been riding his bike when struck by a vehicle that left the scene.
Greenwood Police reportedly identified the driver as 40-year-old Samantha Bolden, who was driving her 2001 GMC Yukon when she allegedly hit Martin then fled the scene. Her address was not noted, other than “Laurens.” Fox Carolina states that Bolden gave a statement to police implicating herself in the crash, according to arrest warrants. She was reportedly released on a $25,000 bond.
