Special Agent Chrissie Cofield of the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division is returning to the Laurens Police Department. The 14-year-veteran of Laurens Police returns to the Assistant Police Chief position. Chief of Police Sonny Ledda said that SLED Agent Cofield is a 14 year veteran of the Laurens Police Department and is well respected in the community of Laurens as well as the community of law enforcement.” He said “Chrissie is a consummate professional who is bringing back a wealth of knowledge she has gained while at SLED.” Chrissie Cofield assumes her duties as Assistant Police Chief Monday, November 3rd.
