Laurens County Elections Director Lynn West noted that Laurens County piloted a student worker program for the 2014 elections. The Laurens County Elections Commission had about 40 high school students as workers for the 2014 General Election. She congratulated the Laurens and Clinton High School students who accepted the challenge readily and thanked them for their support.
Mrs. West said “I have to say, the students were GREAT. We have had nothing but positive feedback, and veteran election workers are insisting we invite these young people back!”
