And the Survey Says……

The Laurens Commission of Public Works received results of their 2014 customer service survey this week, which were positive. Those responding gave the commission an 8.7 overall approval on a scale of 1 to 10.

Employees were given an 8.9 for being friendly, a 9.0 for being professional, and a 9.0 for being safety conscious.

The commission as a whole was given a 7.9 for their utility rates being fair, a 7.8 for those rates being a good value, an 8.3 for policies, a 9.0 for facilities being convenient, a 9.2 for reliable service, an 8.5 for good quality drinking water, and 8.8 for being community focused, and an 8.9 for being easy to contact and being concerned with customer needs.

The survey had a low percentage of participation, with just 43 of the 250 people invited to participate doing so.
