Another woman was placed in the Laurens County Detention Center overnight to be held for Federal charges. Laurens County Deputy Charles Nations was dispatched to the Laurens County Memorial Hospital at 11:06 last night, where a man and woman asked for a ride to a wooded area near Owings where they have reportedly been living. He indicated that given the cold temperatures he could not drop them off “in the woods,” and was there some other option. They asked to be taken to a Waffle House in Fountain Inn. To provide the assistance, he had to get information on the two. The reports showed the man clear but that the woman was wanted by the United States Marshall’s Service. The 23-year-old Fountain Inn woman was taken to the Johnson Detention Center, where she was to be held for Federal Officers.
