Laurens City Police yesterday charged a man with shooting at City Hall this past spring. 23-year-old Brandon Lafredzo Robinson of 19 Smythe Street, Laurens is charged with Discharging a Firearm into a Building.
Detective Leann Riggott states that on March 31st 2012 the defendant, Brandon L. Robinson, did discharge a firearm at or into the Laurens City Hall on East Public Square, which is often occupied by persons. The shooting allegedly caused damage to the building, and allegedly occurred fromLaurel Street.
Brandon Robinson was being held in theJohnsonDetentionCenterovernight, pending arraignment on the charges.
