The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office has charged another suspect in connection with an alleged 1st Degree burglary on Thompson Road July 9th and with an attempted Carjacking on another road the same date. On Thursday, 35-year-old Tabetha Yvonne Baker of 3540 Cavins Road, Woodruff was arrested and charged with 1st Degree Burglary, Grand Larceny, Carjacking and Pointing and Presenting Weapons. Warrants alleged that on July 9th she entered a dwelling on Thompson Road, Fountain Inn without consent and with intent to commit a crime while armed with a handgun. She allegedly took firearms, jewelry and electronics valued at between $2,000 and $10,000 from that residence. Tabetha Baker is also charged with Pointing a Firearm at a victim on Hunts Bridge Road on July 9th, and of attempting to take a vehicle form a victim during that incident. Bond was denied on all four charges. Tabetha Yvonne Baker remained in the Johnson Detention Center today.
