Laurens County Deputy Sheriff Devin Hodges was dispatched to Martin’s Lake Road, Gray Court at 3:27 Sunday morning on a home invasion. After investigation, the Sheriff’s office arrested 36-year-old Brandy Louise Lyles of 73 Aquarius Drive, Gray Court, charging her with First Degree Burglary, Larceny and with Giving False Information. Warrants alleged that in the night-time On July 28th Brandy Louise Lyles entered a dwelling on Martin’s Lake Road with intent to commit a crime therein. She allegedly took a brown tri-fold wallet containing $80 cash and all identification cards and bank cards belonging to the victim. Another warrant states that she intentionally gave false information to mislead officers in their investigation of a Burglary.
Bond was denied on all three charges. Brandy Louise Lyles remained in the Johnson Detention Center this morning.
