2 More Charged in Armed Robbery

   Laurens City Police yesterday afternoon booked three more suspects in connection with the Armed Robbery of a man on Lurey Street. Two were charged in connection with Armed Robberies of the victim on June 4th and July 18th. The 3rd suspect was only charged in connection with the June 4th case. Served with Ten Warrants in connection with both cases were 20-year-old Kristopher Kantay Valentine of 205 Reed Street, Laurens and 18-year-old Javario Kinty Dacory Miller of 255 Green Street, Laurens.

They were charged with Two Counts of Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery, Two Armed Robberies, Two counts of Kidnapping, Two cases of Assault by a Mob in the 2nd Degree and Two Charges for Use of a Weapon during Commission of a Violent Crime.

21-year-old Tramaine Osha “Trey” Valentine of 403 Fairview Road, Laurens was served with 5 warrants following his booking at 2:30 yesterday afternoon in connection with the June 4th Armed Robbery.

  In the warrants, Detective Leann Riggott states that the men unlawfully seized and kidnapped a victim on Lurey Street, then acting as part of a mob he did inflict serious bodily injury on the victim, that they took money from the victim whiled armed with a handgun, that they possessed a handgun during commission of the crime, and that they planned and schemed with another to commit the crime of Armed Robbery.

All three men remained in the Johnson Detention Center earlier today, pending a bond hearing.
