The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Clinton area man Friday and charged him with an alleged sexual encounter last Monday. 20-year-old William Allen Osborne of 87 Long Branch Church Road, Clinton was charged with Criminal Sexual Conduct 2nd Degree. Officer Bobby Galarza states that on November 18th the subject engaged in sexual battery by having sex with a victim who was 15-years-old and with the subject being in a position to coerce the victim. William Osborne was released from the Johnson Detention Center Saturday on posting a $15,000 surety bond.
