A Laurens man has been charged with breaking into a house last Thursday and forcing a victim inside to have sex. The Sheriff’s Office yesterday arrested 21-year-old Quindarious Quinez Vance of Apartment M-88 at 124 Garlington Street, Laurens. He was charged with 1st Degree Burglary and with Criminal Sexual Conduct in the 1st Degree. Warrants state that the investigations of Sheriff’s Lt. Bobby Galarza indicates that Quindarious Quinez Vance entered a dwelling in the Fountain Inn area January 30th
in the nighttime and caused physical injury to a person who was not a participant of the crime. A warrant alleges that Vance engaged in sexual battery by forcing the victim to have sex with him while the victim was also a victim of kidnapping, robbery, extortion and/or burglary, during that burglary event on Thursday, January 30th.
Quindarious Quinez Vance was being held overnight in the Johnson Detention Center, pending a bond hearing on the two charges today.
