Clinton Public Safety Officer Metz was dispatched to Davis Street at 4:48 yesterday afternoon on a report of a woman causing a disturbance. The resident said the younger woman had been at her house yelling and arguing with her daughter. She said she told the offending woman to leave several times during the incident, but that she continued to yell and cause problems. The resident said the woman threw a board at the house, causing a crack in the vinyl siding; and that as she was leaving she struck a window of the resident’s car, but did not cause it to break. The landlord of the rental house didn’t want to press charges for the damage, but did want the woman put on trespass notice. The officer spoke with the daughter of the resident, who said that the visiting woman and she were arguing over a man.
