Laurens Police were 1st dispatched to Hillcrest Drive at 7:03 yesterday morning on a report of people loitering, but shortly thereafter were sent to South Harper Extension in reference to possibly the same subjects in a physical altercation. Dispatch advised they were in a gray metallic Chevy Impala and that both appeared to be intoxicated. Officer James Nolen reported locating the suspect vehicle on South Harper Street Extension and identified a male passenger and a female driver. The woman reportedly had some visible injuries, but officers were unable to determine a primary aggressor. Both were arrested. 34-year-old Ronnie Brooks Trammell and 32-year-old Leslie Mack Davis, both of Apartment 5-E at 309 Exchange Drive, Laurens, were arrested for charges of Criminal Domestic Violence and Public Intoxication. Ms. Davis is also reportedly known as “Sunshine” and “Leslie Louise Mack.” They were placed in the Johnson Detention Center, where they remained this morning.
