Sunday just after 4:00am, Lt. Crain, while on patrol located a vehicle on Hwy 252 at Gerald Self Rd. that had been vandalized. The victim was contacted and stated he was heading toward Laurens on 252 at around 1:10am when the car, a 2007 Infiniti M35 got a flat tire. He called Triple A but they were unable to assist until 8am so he called a friend to come pick him up and left the car on the side of the road. When Lt. Crain found the car, several windows were broken out, holes knocked in the doors, hood and trunk lid crushed in, roof crushed in and both front fender and rear quarter panels crushed in. The victim was contacted and came to the scene. He called a tow company to come get the car and stated he did not know who would have done this to his car or why. The report was closed due to no known suspects.
