A Laurens woman filed a report with Laurens Police yesterday afternoon about the theft of hydrocodone and oxycodone from her home on Independence Avenue. She said that pain medicine she had for use during her recovery from surgery is missing. She noted that a person visiting her at her home said suddenly “I’ve got to go pee” and she allowed her to use her bathroom. Later, she discovered some of her medicine gone.
