Laurens City Police were dispatched to Garlington Street at 4:27 Saturday afternoon by a man reporting that another man had taken his moped without permission. Officers later located the man and the moped and placed him under arrest. 44-year-old Mark Anthony Pasco of 1035 Fleming Street Extension, Laurens was charged with Use of a Vehicle without Owners Consent. Patrolman Andrew Ashley states that Mark Anthony Pasco took a 2011 Moped without the owners consent at 117 Garlington Street on November 16th Mark Pasco was released from the Johnson Detention Center Sunday on a $500 personal recognizance bond.
