The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man Friday in connection with an alleged home break-in, damage to a fence and theft attempt in late 14 months ago. 21-year-old Daniel Joseph Vaughn of 108 Watson Road, Fountain Inn was charged with Burglary 2nd Degree, Malicious Injury and Grand Larceny. Officer Keith McIntosh states that Daniel J. Vaughn entered a dwelling at 1293 Harris Grove Church Road, Fountain Inn on September 15th, 2012. He is accused of willfully and maliciously damaging approximately 4,000 feet of electric fence at 1293 Harris Grove Church Road, Fountain Inn. Vaughn is also accused of attempting to take a John Deer Gator from 1293 Harris Grove Church Road, Fountain Inn on September 19th, 2012. Daniel Joseph Vaughn was released Saturday on personal recognizance bonds of $15,000.
