The Sheriff’s Office yesterday booked a Fountain Inn man on Bench Warrants from Magistrate’s Court in late 2012 and General Sessions Court in early 2013. 37-year-old Tyrone Monzell Dennis of 400 Speedway Drive, Fountain Inn was served with a Magistrate’s Court Bench Warrant for a Driving under the Influence charge, citing a conviction on December 12, 2012 with a sentence imposed of 30 days or $1,026.91. He was served with a General Sessions Bench Warrant for Hit and Run, citing failure to appear for his initial appearance on the charge on January 11, 2013. The Bench Warrant was issued January 18th, 2013. Tyrone Dennis was also being held in the Laurens County Detention Center for Greenville County.
The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office yesterday booked a Columbia woman for a failure to show in Laurens County General Sessions Criminal Court this past spring. 35-year-old Cynthia Helen Archie of 2432 ½ Green Street, Columbia was served with a General Sessions Bench Warrant that cites failure to appear in General Sessions Court on April 7, 2014 to face charges of Obtaining signature or property under false pretenses. She remained in the Johnson Detention Center this morning, pending her court appearance.
The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office yesterday booked a man on Magistrate’s Court Bench Warrants from two cases tried on consecutive days back in January. 28-year-old Christopher James Davis of 28 Heaton Road, Clinton was served yesterday with Magistrate’s Court Bench Warrants citing convictions on January16th 2014 for Driving under Suspension with a sentence imposed of 30 days in jail for a fine of $378.08 and a conviction January 17th on a charge of Leaving the Scene of an Accident with property damage and a sentence of 30 days or $237. Christopher Davis remained in the Johnson Detention Center this morning.
